Eastern Handies remain ascendant, albeit slower
The heat seems to have cooled slightly in the Handy bulk sector, but owners remain on the advantageous side of negotiations with the Pac-based Supra owners getting higher rates of US$ 7,000s on Aussie rounds compared to low US$ 7,000s earlier this week. (p. 1)

US Gulf Supramaxes maintain strong freights
The US Gulf is short on fixtures revealed, whilst the Supra front hauls are well above US$ 20,000. (p. 2)

Coasters: Baltic rates stable amid rising activity
Low EUR 20s/mt remain the norm for 3,000mt shipments from the German North Sea to the Irish Sea with EUR 21-22/mt seen as last-done. (p. 2)
